I went and looked up 5 and 6-letter Scrabble words with the highest points and made up a word bank using them. The points they would receive in Scrabble (not counting any double/triple letter or word points) is shown by each word.
Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to write a poem using at least 10 of the words below. The top three winners will receive the points listed as award amounts, plus additional points corresponding with each word they used in their winning poem(s).
You may enter as many times as you wish, but do not repeat the words you use.
Please include the list of words that you used with their points in your author's comments, so if you win I can quickly calculate the extra points you will receive.
I have no clue what some of these mean, but will be looking them up as they are used.
Any form, any style, anything - just please categorize appropriately.

Why is it that I feel I have landed in a Douglas Adams book with all those words! Zappy, furzy, woozy, boozy, qophs, zincky, schizy, and so on and so on. Now I have to keep looking out for Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect to come stumbling by shouting "42!" At least the Volgons haven't been around yet!
And yes, I do know where my towel is!!!
