The *POM* is 700 points for Gold, plus a ( 3 ) month Silver Membership ~

Please be kind to these Judges, as we are only here to find the Best poems for these Contests ~
These contests have become so popular, that I have found myself out of personal time, therefore, needing collaborating Judges ~
The POW is going to be opened sooner as well!!
Thus allowing you more time to critique your work, and allow more Poets to enter, to compete against your best Poetry, which YOU have entered ~

Great news from Kevin, the owner of Allpoetry ~
He is in support of this *Sequence of Contests*, and is granting Silver & Gold Memberships to be received from the best POM's & the best POY's ~
These are a ( 3 ) month Silver for the POM's....and a ( 6 ) month Gold Membership for the POY, so how cool is that? ~
Also........the POD, POW, POM & of course the Poem of the Year, the POY, will be displayed on the Front Page of AP ~
However....this will NOT take place until Kevin and I have worked out further details ~
We are also going to be creating different colored Trophys for the POW, POM & the POY ~
This is Very exciting news for us all!!
I am proud to say, that I am sole holder of the POD, POW, POM & the POY Contests, and I have found a collaborating Poet to help me Judge, as this has become quite successful in the 10 short weeks I have been running these contests ~
If you are someone who has the time, and understands what I mean by....* Sit & Ponder* Poems, then please IM me via personal IM, and we'll chat a bit ~
If I do not get back with you immediately, it means I have a Life and I must attend to it first ~
You should all be proud to be a part of history in the making as AP takes on another milestone in its' history of bringing Poets together ~
Finally, remember one thing....I am Proud of all of you for striving to be the best you can be, and for not giving up, even when I say ...no, or, I'm sorry....or even when I make my own simple mistakes ~
....and....if you want to continue to enter these contests, they had better make me sit & ponder, or they'll just be wasting space sitting in the bottom of the pile ~
I don't want to hear about grandmothers and their cookies....funerals....boyfriends who left.... a cheating Spouse, or even the beautiful birds in the beautiful sky ~
I want good Poetry that will make me want to read it and think.....wow.....that's deep!

Ummmm....not sure as to what to say after today ~
AP was freezing on me ALL day!
Poets have cursed me!
Poets will not accept the word...NO!
...also...as you have probably noticed, I have recruited ( 3 ) other Judges to add their own personl critique to each entry ~
Judge # 1, crisstiena, is well trained now in what I expect for her to look for, within each entry ~
Please have patience with us as we combine our thoughts and make this a better contest for every Poet to enjoy ~
I, personally, have had many nasty things said to me via IM's, and there is now a Link you can go to to post your own opinions about the POD, POW or the POM ~
Of course I will not give out that link, because it is not me, who started it ~
Trust me Poets....I only want the best when it comes to Judging your hard work and efforts of plenty when trying to win this contest ~
I am a Fair Judge...I always have been, and always will be ~
Are you going to agree with me all the time.....Heck no!!
...but...you will get to know me better, and we will begin to overcome all of this disagreeing with one another ~
If you are not happy by the 3rd or 6th time you have entered, then all I can say, is I hope you can find a Judge that you like, and stick by them ~
Am I going to cater to your needs....no ~
Am I going to bend my Rules anymore for anyone....no ~
Am I going to expect you to follow EVERY RULE....YES!
So.....with that said....congrats to *Deluged Minds*....you have just won the POD for August 6th & 7th!

I have edited what was required to be edited.
I feel that since that title has been censored as how it's ususally accepted, I feel that the title is strong and raw and yes it does rattles one's mind. How else are you to grab someone's attention if there are five billion other poets that are just as good as you are? -
