ooh i want to enter, might not be able to for a while but will try to before it closes...remind me.
lol "No religious poems"... people might not like that, i merely said that i didnt think the quote someone chose from my last contest was meant in a religious way to someone who wrote a religious poem on it... and they said i was being prejudice!... religion is stupid though so i think you're right and i'm putting that in the rules for my next contest too!
btw i love and miss you muchly... xxxxxx -
-
HAHAHA! That's ridiculous! And I do think religion is stupid too. I live in the south now and it's known as the bible belt of the u.s. Argggg. I tell everyone I'm a jewish lesbian or an atheist extreme [and that I am!]
I love you and miss you too fairy pie
♥
-
-
but the bible belt is so amusing. especially the baptists. i mean, you know why baptists don't have premarital sex, don't you? [because it leads to dancing].....i've lived in the bible belt all my life. but there are still interesting people here, and i find them all the more fascinating because they haven't fallen prey to the mundanity of the masses.
-
-
haha... that's not why baptists don't have premarital sex....
some of the reasons are to avoid heartbreak [which if you're married, it's a commitment so it's not as emotionally risky], save it for their future spouse so they're both "pure" or whatever when they do have sex, and within marriage they have both emotional and physical needs met... also fear of pregnancy or disease, and to avoid guilt [which sometimes non-religious people still experience.]
I for one am for abstinence....... heh, but . that doesn't hold any weight with me apparently.
but that's beside the point.. <(-_-)>
that just caught my eye though when I saw that was their reasoning... maybe some individuals have said that, but I'm sure that's not what Baptists on a whole believe.
-
-
Okay, look, it was a joke. I had no intentions of promoting close-mindedness or promiscuousness or even misconceptions of Baptist doctrine. I have a pretty good grasp of Baptist doctrine, trust me. I also understand that those in favor of abstinence have some logical and valid reasons. I was just poking fun.

I like
I like the picture and the rules are good, but to me this contest is similar to all the others because it is about something you miss and wish you still had. But good luck judging, b. -
write about something you wish and still had but can't use those words ? i thought about it until i seen that you like to bash christians and if your not a beleiver of god than you live for satan theres nothing inbetween its heaven or hell and as far as religion its just a man made word , there are hundreds of kinds of religions i guess that is why some people don't like it , once you know the real truth about god and not just religion you may understand someone better , its more spiritual than just someone preaching to you in a sermon , i do not like to think of someone going to hell for eternity but theres only about 1 tenth of 1 percent of the people who has ever been born that will make it into gods kingdom , its a hard road to live but it takes discipline and faith to make it , just thought i would try to put the word religion into some kind of perspective for you who do not realy understand how the spirit of god works

that was a waste of reading time.
