Welcome to the Procrastination Station!
You are at the right contest if you have ever put something off. I'm hosting this contest for I was the Procrastination person of the year for the past fifteen years. I can even prove it! They still have the awards waiting for me as I keep telling them that I will be there next year to pick it up. Well, now pick them up! I just got back from taken a test for my employer that I have almost put off for a year. If I didn't take it before August 2007, it would have cost me another $115.00 to take the test (even though the bright side is that I would have had another year to take it). Good news, I passed and now don't have to worry about it. Now if I can only do some other things that I have put off that has been several years past now. I have made a couple of bets with some buddies that I would have this project done by 15 September 2007 (which is the second bet since I lost the first one of not having it done by 1 May 2007). was confident that I could do it, but with only about forty-five days left...I may lose the bet again. Now you can tell that I have a bit of procrastination in me (with many things perhaps).
Here's your assignment if you wish to choose to do it (I know you may procrastinate awhile before getting around to it). Write a poem or story about something you have procrastinated about doing in the past or something even current. At least you will be awarded the trophies without me procrastinating too much(lol)!

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on October 8, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 300, Honorable mention: 2 people
- Final notes: These were fantastic entries to my Procrastinating contest! So difficult to judge. I honestly mean that. Everyone can be proud of their entries when you make a host pull out his hair trying to figure out who will end up with the trophies. I have went into these entries several times a piece. There were a total of 18 entries and I knew the only way I was going to figure out any winners was to chop them in half. Even that was a super hard thing to do. You just don't know how close it was just to get the nine I chose. Then talk about a tougher chore, choosing three out of the nine. Sometimes I have contests that are easy to judge, then there are times like these when I have such fantastic entries. Again, going through the nine and trying to choose five was difficult. I decided to go back and add two HMs even though many of the entries were deserving. I know there was some procrastination judging the contest, but it was a procrastinating contest. I know there will be a few disappointed authors, for I know how good the entries were as I had to judge them. I do hope it was fun for you regardless how you came away from here. Thank you for such a fun and hard to judge contest for me to host! Please enter others that I host which may tickle your fancy!
Sincerely,
Ted E Bare

OoooO I may have to take a stab at this one. Procrastination is not usually my thing but, there is one instance where is was.....I really like this concept.

Would love for you to take a stab at it. Just remember I am the Procrastinator of the year for the past fifteen(lol). However, you may have something that would have you nominated for the upcoming year(lol)

Interesting....
I will have to copy this one, or keep it in my memory banks. I procrastinate so well I put off, putting off whatever it is I was going to put off in the first place.
However, I do know something that you can stop putting off. lol! It's not raining anymore
