Time has torn us apart, whilst jealousy was growing in your heart, remember the times it was just you and me... remember the time when we could be free.
I want some nostalgia, hatred, love, pain, whatever this makes you think of.
Make me feel how you once felt when you were at the top, give me imagery, give me passion and desire.
Write anyway you want, about anything you want. It's just got to be about how you once felt at the top and now feel forgotten.
Long or short it doesn't matter.
Rules
.Minimum of 8 lines
.Strong language only where relevant
.Put a bit of yourself into it, I want to feel what you're saying
.Enjoy

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on August 11, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 350, Silver: 100, Bronze: 40, Honorable mention: 3 people
- Final notes: Thankyou to everyone who entered, this was a tough one to judge, hence the 2 extra honourable mentions added.
I feel that all poems that were into the finalists deserved gold =)
I would like to see more work from all of the finalists, your poems genuinely inspired me!
I have been playing with the order for the past couple of hours and I think I've finally got it right.
Sorry about the lack of points of the contest, it was more of a 'give me some inspiration' rather than 'fight for the points battle'.
All finalists are invited to the next contest which will be about points!
Thankyou
Ryan
