However, before you panic, thinking I'll be some horrific, sadistic brute...
I have used a clock generator to generate a random time between the hours of 7:00P.M. and Midnight, that is Eastern Standard Time.
The next catch:
I am only accepting twenty entries.
The final catch:
ABSOLUTELY NO RESERVATIONS.
That is correct. You're racing against other people. If forty people want to enter, only twenty people can. Though, perhaps only three people may have written poems.
Finally, there is a minimum line limit of twenty lines. Yes, the stress only builds. Can you write twenty lines, in what could be five minutes?
None of you have any idea what time the generator chose. The generator could easily have chosen 7:05, or 7:10. Or, it could have chosen 9:30, 10:20 or 11:11. You may have the full five hours.
Will you have five minutes, or five hours.
And more importantly, can you write something remarkable under such pressure.
Oh, and you have wasted time reading this. This is like life, you could easily die in ten minutes.
