Hi,I am sending my best wishes to your Grandma and all the people affected by these terrible floods,I am unsure if am able to enter a write but am hoping that the rain ceases and that there is more help available to our friends, families, eldery and young trying to survive without water, electricity or homes.I believe the territorial army should be deployed and that Brown should declare a state of emergency, the flood waters are infected with sewage and e coli is another danger yet how is anyone able to be hygienic without water, will donate points for you to promote the contest instead of entering, good luck with this and all the best to everyone,Yvette (

I am truly disappointed, out of all those that clicked this in the feature box none could even leave a message of goodwill,a few seconds to type something humane, caring, supportive would be really appreciated,it's not so much wasting the points that concerns me but that apathy has reached allpoetry when I sincerely believed we were a caring community...

Hi,it's me again, have decided to enter as I do want to show support,I have to state here that I am not entering for a chance of a trophy placement,I have never entered a contest before that I have sponsered or funded so that no one is compromized, the only way I can in all conscience enter after sponsering this is to ask specifically that I am not placed but allowed to enter to add my voice of support,I just heard the latest weather forecast and heavy rains for 24 hours, the media coverage of the carnage and chaos is so so worrying, hope to god the logistical nightmare is dealt with quickly, prudently and with the people in mind.

Thankyou for the honour of Honourable Mention and I am glad that our prayers are being answered and there has been a temporary respite in the perpetual rain, though the people affected by the floods will be affected by it's ravaging effects for more days and nights than we can number,God bless them
