Rhyming Ramblings

It says "ramblings" and that's what I want. Let your mind meander and write me a really good poem that rhymes.

Pre-writes are allowed but they cannot have already won in any other contests!

This ends when it ends so the sooner the better!

Here are some things I like...

first, really good rhyme.

the words: shadows, lavender, dreams, twilight, mist ...oh

and lurking; I like that a lot:)

I don't really care for dark macabre poetry

but if it's good; great, I'll consider it.

If you want to know what I really like

check out my favorites list and read some of theirs.

Congratulations to everyone. The winners were the poems that touched my heart either because of the rhyme or because they were different in some way but every entry was great and I enjoyed reading them all. Thank you for entering.

thanks for this contest - all my work is rhyming, and not many people do that around here. Sleepless nights is a Ramble that i wrote, just as the title suggests - when i couldn't sleep.

I entered my poem, it has an honorable mention, I wasn't sure if that counted as winning, if it does just delete it, I don't mind.
