Does Beauty Come in My size?

Read the poem below! I want something like that

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I see all the models on TV
Seeing all that some girls yearn to be

They're all skinny and look like twigs
Making some of us feel like pigs

Does beauty even come in my size
Or will I never feel that suprise

Just because I'm not itty-bitty
Doesnt mean that I'm not pretty

So Im not so skinny but that doesnt mean that Im a freak
Just a little bit different, special, unique

You may hate me but I dont hate you
Why dont you try a day in my shoes

People mock me
They humiliate me but I guarantee

Most of them dont care
They dont know what it feels like to be compared

To be exiled out from everyone
Yet nothings been done

To feel lonely and hurt
To be thrown out and kicked on the dirt

Does anyone even hear my cries
Does beauty come in my size?

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Do you believe that beauty comes from the outside or does beauty dwell within? What do you think?

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on July 17, 2007
  • Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50
  • Final notes:
Okay Im sorry I ended the contest early but I realized I wont be here when its supposed to end and I already had and idea of who was going to win. I really enjoyed holding this contest I wrote the poem in the contest and it made me wonder what others thought about the subject so I was like "Im going to hold a contest on it!" And wow I was soo amazed on everyones entries! I loved them all and I wish I could give you all points but I dont have enough points for that many honorable mentions! Well I loved all the poems and I was really really impressed on everyones enthusiasm! Congradulations to the winners, and to everyone else. You all get the point that beauty comes from the inside its deeper than skin makeup and hair! You dont have to look like a twig! Everyone is Beautiful!

    Thanks
    Natalie

Being more voluptuous myself I cam assure you there are som men who prefer it. However with all this aside it suprises me that you would limite the poems submitted to rhyme only, isn't that just like limiting the body to one size, that everything must fit into one little nitch. Just asking.

    Sweetie!
Love comes anywhere, anytime and to who deserve it.
I'm happily a size 14, not a twig atall and I've found love and happiness
The media is wrong to have oppressed people with their Deadly Looking Models, in my opinion all of them should eat a good Big Mac! And stop giving teen's freaking eating disorders..

    Lol
