This is a new idea Im going to try it out and see how it goes.
Here is the thing
I am going to give you 5 lines of verse i have just mad eup for this contest here they are
Electricity
please power my soul
sing softly to my heart
hear The music of the planets
orbiting round the planet sol
this is how it works my dears this is the start to your poem all reserve a spot of you want a perticular place in the poem but the person that enters first builds on the theame of my five lines writing five of their own it can beanch form the topic as long as it is linked.
and the next person enters and broadens the last five lines of the last poem entry.
see simple really 20 entries.
rules
-do not change or use the same words in the last persons work unless it is necessary
diversity but it has to link
-no bashing
-no swearing
-grammer and punctuation
-free verse please only for this contest so we have a continuous rhyme scheme
-have fun
-when the contest is over the idea is that we have all contributed to create one poem it belogs to all who have written an entry and after this would be nice if we all becasme close friends and pasted the poem on to their page to mark our friendship.
