Alright, this is my first contest, so please bare with me.
The title and description give away the contest. I want you to write about Tarot Cards, Oracle Cards, or Medicine Cards.
Write about the effect they have or have had on you.
Write about the feeling that they give you.
Write about how you are connected to your cards.
Write about a reading.
Write about how you feel during a reading.
There's no limit, just as long as you write about the Cards!
RULES!!!!!!
1. If you cannot temporarily set aside your fascination with TyPiNg l/i/k/e DIS, then this contest is NOT for you.
2. No bashing any person, spirituality, etc.
3. NO EROTICA! I'm 14, I can't read it anyway.
4. I understand spelling errors, I make them a lot myself, but if I or someone else informs you of a spelling error, FIX IT!
5. Don't give The Cards a bad reputation or image.
6. Be nice.
7. Must pretain directly to The Cards. Don't tell me what happened a week after your reading. Tell me about the reading or The Cards.
8. Sorry, but no prewrites
9. No chatspeak.
10. Please don't be a sore loser if you lose. Likewise please don't be cocky if you win.
11. Please comment on at least 2 other entries as common courtesy! Thanks.
Here are a few little things that may help you:
I like rhyme, but it's not required.
I prefer to read something with a bit of depth.
I don't like having to highlight it to read it against the backround.

Excellent Idea!
I love the theme you've chosen and I wish you an abundant turn-out of great pieces. You should have a very hard time judging your first contest {in my opinion}...Congrats on this your 1st & may you find some new exciting poets to add to your fav's! Of course, Auntie will plan on writing a piece. Hugs, Blue -

Thanks!
I look forward to reading your entry Aunt Blue!
It is my hope that this contest will be extremely difficult to judge...
*hugs*

Hey, what up. I do tarot cards too. I didn't have enough money to buy some so I made them and found in a book of mine the difination for each card. Now I got to teach my friend how to do tarot and purify her cards since she is now interested in them. I wouldn't know how to tell you how I feel about them or anything.
