Notes: Because of my other duties I will have to close this contest before its time. It will be closed tomorrow morning, European time, about noon. Good luck to all competitors.

I am here, again. This is my contest number 31. So, this time I want to celebrate love and life. Reason? I have my own. Do you have it too?

    It wasn't easy to came out with the finalist list because many of you deserved trophy. Because of that instead of three I decided to have four HW.

    Thank you for your nice poetry written in many different stiles. Some makes me to think, some makes me to laugh, but all of you are working serious and with love. What was my reason to choose this winners? My taste for poetry? Their poetical strength to express feelings or to paint a new world with words?

    Thank you, dear Sonja. And thanks for your wonderful comment. The subject of your contest made me think, and while writing I realized I'm not in the right position to write an ode to life in a complete positive sense. I do love life and all its aspects, but it's just not a one way thing. And besides that I realized I live in Belgium. We have no plains or flower-covered hills to sing about. We have money. And cars. And too many bloody houses. I'll be glad when I'm gone. And love, you know. My love has taken my heart many years ago, I've written too much on the topic already. Perhaps some more diffuse sense of love is part of my life, but I cannot possibly pour it into words.
