Okay, the main goal for this contest is to inspire me. I've had writers block lately and havent been kicking out anything good....so..inspire me...its pretty simple...the poem that inspires me the most...wins.
So, here are some Tips
I really enjoy dark poetry...i'm totally okay with the cutting and suicide poems...or the dark and introverted ones...anything dark..and i'm good with it....I also love Love poetry....so those two are defiantly the most welcome. So is anything else..but your more likely to win if you have either a dark poem...or a love poem (Or a mix of the two)
Here are some ideas to get you going
Use one or more of these quotes to base your poem on...or to include somewhere inside it (Some of these are from my poems)
1: Bleeding through cracks among the glass
2: Watch the blood seep from my heart
3: My first love slips away from my grasp
4: Wisk me away on your powerful wings
5: Tangled in a silver web of broken dreams
6: Drowning in the torment of the shadows requim
7: The devils laugher haunts my dreams

9: Peacefully broken
10: Lost to the world
Or pick one of these titles (You can also use these as a quote..just make a note of it in your author box;-))

Finally, I know right now this contest isnt worth a lot of points...I will be adding more as i earn more points..but i really just wanted to get a contest started (I need some inspiration)...But also want something new...I want to inspire YOU so you can inspire ME (Btw...your chances of winning also go up if you use one of my quotes and/or titles ;-)

- Final notes: Okay. This was really tough to judge...(for some poems) Others, it was really easy to say..yeah..no. But a good...40% of these poems were absolutely AMAZING. So thanks to all of you who were one of the "Amazing" ones. (Its writers like you who keep contest holders like me from going completely insane) lol. Also, hardly ANY of the prewrites followed the rules...which has reinforced why I didnt allow them in the first place. But w/e...there still were some really really amazing ones. They just couldnt win because they didnt follow the rules....and lucky for just about all of you I was nice with my DQ button. A lot of people didnt (Who used one of my titles or quotes) put it in their comment box. But hey, what can I do? lol...Really guys, thanks for all the wonderful entries. This was probably my favorite contest Congrats to the winners and for those of you who didnt win...message me and i'll be able to tell you why. Or if you just want to know if you were one of the "Amazing" ones..i'll answer that too. Alright thanks again everyone!
