or spell "lyke dis," etc.
Be nice to others or don't say anything at all.

I know some spanish, I just can't write a poem in Spanish lol. Well I guess I could, it'd just be really bad lol.

Non sono italiano, ma posso capire la lingua.
Ho scritto questa poesia recentemente.
PAESAGGIO TOSCANO
Nella distanza brumosa
le torri di San Gimignano
stanno sul colle
dove, ieri sera,
le loro luci facevano
una coroncina scintillante.
Lungo una cresta più vicina
sfilano le vecchie case
di Barberino Val d'Elsa,
si raggruppano, con tetti rossi,
intorno ad un campanile
come soldati che circondano uno stendardo.
Sotto, sui pendii assolati,
cipressi, come sentinelle, indicano col dito
un cielo azzuro e nebbioso,
e vigneti di velluto a coste verde
fanno un mosaico colorato
di marrone e verde oliva.
Nella stradina tra i vigneti
i vendemmiatori che aspettano
l'inizio della raccolta,
sorridono e salutano benevolmente
quando io passo e auguro loro:
"Buona vendemmia!"

I'd allow Italian poems, but I don't know Italian... at all. Some things I might be able to guess on, but other than that? Nope. I bet they're beautiful, and if you made a contest you could see and judge everyone else's Italian poems!

If I was a fluent speaker I might enter this but I don't think I know enough to write a good piece in spanish. Cool idea though. It's rare to see poems in any other language than english.
