Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on July 18, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 600, Silver: 200, Bronze: 150, Honorable mention: 2 people
- Final notes: The two top entries were very fine. For interesting plotting, potential to offend the susceptible and for its plotline, the "Time Machine" entry seemed a clear winner and I very nearly closed the contest on its receipt; yet it did not capture SNOGGO's modesty and solipsism, it failed to gel with the heart of SNOGGO. The "midget oppressor" story was more off the wall and (although perhaps not so charmingly offensive) had more of the spirit of SNOGGO in it and the author had clearly done his/her homework by referencing other SNOGGO tales. I adjusted the points in order to take account of three other promising entries. The next genuine SNOGGO story will borrow from all of these entries and (if it's OK with the writers) they themselves will feature in the new SNOGGO story. I am now faced with incorporating a tale featuring midgets, Hitler, JC, the RAF, Scottish clans and the secret service. This may take some time.

I google imaged snoggo and the damn google search engine seems to be experiencing some gliches - it mistakenly thought I had misspelled snow! To think.
Perhaps snoggo is simply too beautiful for google?

Yes yes finally an interesting contest in honour of everyone's favourite super hero!!!!! I will get cracking on my tribute immediately! I may only hope that snoggo will enjoy my attempt! (and of course it will NOT be suitable for the younger crowd...or anyone really for that matter!)
