I wanted to say that if you do not see your name on the list.. do not be discouraged.. the reason being for that is I either never see you online..or you may be one who does not write much. Since this has a short deadline and all I did not want to make you uncomfortable or rushed.. I still love you all!!
I wanted to show my appreciation to some of the people on my favorites/friends list. I don't know how you all feel about me, or if you feel like I do not appreciate you enough.. I know I am bad about keeping up with my reading and such of your poems.. but I am here today to show you that I love you all... that I appreciate you.. and without you here.. my life on AP would be dull...and not at all worth my time. You all make me feel so wonderful with all of your wonderful comments and sweet Im's. I am one of the luckiest people on here for having you all as my friends and mentors. I have learned soo much from all of you here.. My poetry has grown to lengths I could never have imagined it to do. You are all a part of why I come here day to day.. and even though I may not say it enough.. or show it by returning the favor.. I do love you all.. and I think that you are all just completely amazing people with hearts of Gold and that is why I am running this contest.
I know I told some of you that I was going to do a quickie reject contest.. but it seems not worthy enough to me.. so I have decided to do a rounds contest.
The amount of you that actually enter will determine the prizes awarded. For this contest alone I will be giving out HM's.. but these will not be just any HM's... they will be full of respect and love. As I have found out now from the Moderators here.. I cannot do trophy pick ups. So I am left to do it this way.. and I hope you all will understand.But they are right anyhow.. it is the most fair way to do this.
There will be 5 people here who will win.. Gold,Silver,Bronze and 2 HM's
the other 10 will go on to the next round and I will then hand out 5 trophies to those who win the round(or if there are only a couple entries... then you will all get something here.
the last 5 of you(depending on who enters) will then go on to the last round where you will write me something new and wonderful.. and what type of trophy you get will determine the amount of soul you put into your write..
Just like with any contest.. there are rules:
and rules are meant to be broken.. so do not hold back on ANYTHING!!!
I will request that you use spell check though.. so that I can fully comprehend your poems!!

Basically.. I want you to write about your best friend.. or a friend.. or what not.. but listen to the song.. Everytime I hear it I want to cry because it is a beautiful song.
I know that some of you do not have a lot of time on your hands.. and this is not usually a request of mine..but I thought it would be neat to have you all TRY and comment on eachothers poems at the end of the contest. Who knows... maybe one of you will find a new friend and mentor from the bunch!!
