This is Round 1 of a 4 Part Contest.

*Edit*
I'm going to keep this open until I recieve at least 40 entries (which would be 20 people), although I'd prefer to wait for more. Please, if you've already entered; make sure you've entered both of the two pieces and that you've stated in some form which go together
thanks.
For this round, I ask that you submit two seperate poems (In your authors comments for both poems, please make sure to state which go together!)
Poem 1:
Your favorite Pre-Write that you've written on AP. Make sure that with the poem you submit, you are willing to work with others and accept critiques and consider changes they might consider.
Poem 2:
This needs to be a newly written poem, the theme of which can be chosen from the guidelines stated below. If there's something you'd like to write about that isn't here, feel free to message me and I'm sure we can work something out : ).
-Create a character or write about a "character" in your life. Make me love this person, or hate them, or fear them, or feel towards them any and as many emotions as you can create. Make sure they are multi-dimenstional people, with layers.
-Write about a single moment in your life that has impacted and changed you forever. It could be in either a positive or negative way. Write about both the event and how it's shaped you.
-Write about a supernatural experience you have had. This option is pretty open to your personal intepretation.
-Pick a social issue in the world that is currently holds relevance to you, and write about it. But not only from your perpective, also write about it in the opposite perspective. This can be done in either two parts, or alternating between perspectives.
-Like I said above, if there's something else you'd like to do, just let me know.
Rules:
-Please Please Please make sure to write in both the authors comments and brief summary of poem, which piece is your other one you submitted. This is because when judging, I will not be able to see the username of poems submitted, and so I need to know which pieces are connected while judging.

If I can find the time in the next 24 hours, I will try to enter this contest for it's a very unique one and I'm impressed with the structure. If I'm unable to enter, I still wish the host and participants good luck!

Ted E -
Mm.
For the new poem,
I haven't had any supernatural experiences, nothing that's really 'changed my life forever' sticks out to me, I write about social issues all the time so I'm running out of ideas, and I write more abstract poetry so a character is sort of strange for that and I don't want to hurt my chances of advancing.
Possibley give me one more option?
Haha,
Thanks.
And sorry for the inconvenience; Good luck! <3 -
It says 20 people are to be pushed onto the next round but only 3 were judged...what happened?
