Subtle, Quiet, Intimacy

I am a hopeless romantic; guess that's pretty evident by now
I am a sucker for sweet, tender romance; you know, those moments when you don't have to speak a word to each other..those quiet, intimate moments when subtle gestures say everything your heart wants to speak?
Sigh....
Ahem, anyway...
What I'm looking for is just pure beauty; no heavy erotica but awesome sensual is good...very good.
Write of those quiet, intimate moments with someone when words need not be spoken but with subtle gestures, your heart says everything
I need some softness; make me sigh

My rules:
NO EROTICA; sensual is appreciated
NO use of the "f" word
No street lingo or sticky caps
NO bashing others' poetry or others..period
Be nice

If you don't like my contests, that's fine; don't participate and don't comment on them; simple, right?

Enjoy yourselves; that's what these contests are all about

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on July 5, 2007
  • Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 100, Bronze: 75, Honorable mention: 4 people
  • Final notes:
The "quickies" have overtaken the contest ring so wasn't receiving any more entries...kind of sad
The entries in this contest were awesome.
My choice for gold touched my heart to tears; I sat and read and reread it and every time, I found myself overcome with more emotion than can be put into words. Thank you

My choice for silver is just breathtaking in beauty...a soft, sensual romance; something I long for with the full intensity of my heart

And my choice for bronze...it's just sweet; reminds me of a lazy Saturday or Sunday..just being with the one you love

All the poems were excellent; thank you

    this is my vision

soft in the day we find our spot
a gentle time of sun and breeze
a field of flowers by the lake

all the parts of a picture and recipe for romance

the flowers are humbled for you are more beautiful
the breeze sighs for your caress more gentle

we lay together quiet for all that needs to be said is heard in our heart beats and read in our eyes.

our sighs echo the love of ages that have found a home in us.

    gentle caresses, soft kisses

    finding your charms

a soft moan of acceptance and permission

my hands travel and find all your spots of joy and pleasure

this is my place in life to be your pleasure guide
    your perfect love
    your other heart.

and you are my flower and the keeper of my soul
