This is not your average quickie.
It might not even be a 'quickie'
This is how it will work.
Until I get 7 entries worthy of at least HM I will close the contest and judge.
I am going to be honest with you. If I love it I will tell you I loved it. If I think it is okay, and more could have been done with it, I will tell you.
This is not another meaningless trophy contest. This is a contest- win that will mean something to you. It should, because I'm going to be a tough judge this time around. [Well, not too bad]
You get my drift though.
Only enter unless if you are coming in here with these things in mind
-I am going to "wow" Tyler with complex metaphor's'
-I am going to "wow" Tyler with awesome imagery
-I am going to make sure Tyler will be able to understand my poem.
-I am going to make sure my poem is contrasted well between both concepts or among all concepts.
-I am going to make sure my title is creative
-I am going to make sure my poem is original and creative
-I am going to win FIRST PLACE in this contest.
Yes, come into this contest with confidence. I want you to be confident.

If a miracle happens, and I get more than 7 fantastic entries deserving of HM, then I will definitely hand out more HM's.
Work hard for this one.
If I feel it is needed, I will give an honest critique. Take this with class, and use it to help you. Don't be afraid to disagree with me, but do be respectful. If you piss me off, I will just remove you. [Got a problem with that? Then don't give me a hard time] lol
Well anyway, have a blast.
OH AND IMPORTANTLY
This is a pay it forward contest. Just like I did, if you win gold that means it is your job to host the next one. It has to be a quickie kind of contest.
Now get writing.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on June 26, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 100, Bronze: 75, Honorable mention: 4 people
- Final notes: the top four made it hard to judge.
It came down to originality, and just how it appealed to me I guess.
They were all very, very good though!
As for the three others, you were all very good too. 2 of you are rhymers, and neither of you did a bad job, in fact I was surprised, but I enjoyed it.
Thank you for the talent.
For those of who didn't place, keep it up, you've got lots of talent. If you are open to constructive criticsm you will find yourself learning new ways to express yourself better.
Again, thank you. See you next time! xD
