This is my first contest, so I'm starting off with an easy one, the classic nature. Go for it!
Option #1
Write a poem about the animal shown in the link below. Tell me how it inspires you and what you love about it. Be vivid; make your image pop out.

Option #2
Write a poem about a right that animals don't have and that you think they should have. Are circuses or zoos wrong? Is there an abuse case that you recently heard about? What's your opinion? Why is it so wrong that animals can't run free in nature, if that is your view? Break my heart. Show me you care.
Option #3
If animals aren't really your thing, write a poem about a peaceful nature scene unmarred by human habitation. Whether it be a sunny meadow, a sparkling creek, a magnificent canyon, an arctic tundra, a rainy forest, a starry moonlit night, or anything between or beyond, tell me about it. Paint me a vivid picture that will stick with me. Show me what nature means to you!
Rules
1. I'm not picky - be sTIcKy! As long as your poems are good.
2. No chatspeak please, and check your grammar and spelling. They drive me insane!
3. No bashing.
4. In the third option, NO ANIMALS. Your own personal nature fantasy ONLY. So for instance, don't put wolves in your tundra or goats on your mountains or birds in your sky or deer in your woods. Keep it all landscape and weather!
5. Just to be safe, I'll say no erotica, even though I have no idea how you could work that into this one.
6. No profanity. (Things like "hell" or "damn" are okay.)
6. Have fun!
