Hello everyone. This will be the second contest that I am hosting. I'm really excited to do this again. Last time was a blast.
Okay - straight to the point of the contest.
I want you to write about your happy place. The one place in the world that you feel the best about life, and why.
Try answering some of these questions through your poetry...
- Where is this place?
- What does it look like?
- Is it an actual setting or is it being in a certain someones arms?
- What does it smell like there?
- Taste like?
- Feel like?
- What makes this your happy place?
- Does anyone know about this place?
I want to be able to see this place in my head. I want to get the feeling that I am there, and get sense of how you feel when you are there.
I have no rules. Do what you would like with this. Go farther than I asked you too, do whatever sparked in your head when you read the descrpition of my contest.
(Also, I know many people don't allow erotice in their contests, but if you feel that it is essential to your poem, then you may write erotica.)
And most of all have fun.
I want to wish you all good luck, and let you know that I will read every entry that I recieve, and also comment them.
Have a blast!
