Phrase Competition
OK, I am going to start this as a round contest, the 10 finalists will battle it out for the final prize.
I would like a fresh write, on one of the following phrases, or quotes. Unfortunately, if they are quotes, I cannot claim them, nor do I have much chance of remembering who said them.

3# Spinning at different speeds
4# Tears water your soul.
5# Crystal rain falls from black clouds
6# You use a glass mirror to see your face; you use works of art to see your soul
7# We are all mortal until the first kiss and the second glass of wine

9# Everyone has a photographic memory. Some don't have film
10# If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried
11# Never fear shadows. They simply mean there is a light shining somewhere nearby.
12# I love walking in the rain, 'cause then no-one knows I'm crying

15# Lift up your voice

I will comment on every entry.
However, some rules:
1. I reserve the right to add more quotes and phrases, and rules.
2. Please put your authors name in the notes box if you enter more than once (this is so i can have more people go on to the final round, instead of just one person)
3. No swearing excessively, it's not necessary
4. No TyPinG Lyk Dis, a.l.s.o. {not} *needed*
5. Poems not prose please.
6. Have fun
7. No bashing other poems, or poets, or religions
8. Enter as many times as you want, but remember your authors name if you enter more than once.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on July 22, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 7 people
- Final notes: Thankyou for all the entries, unfortunately I did not have as many entires as i had hoped to recieve. However, all those present on the finalist list, are invited back for a second round, where I will determine the top three winners, who will recieve additional trophies.
There will be limited quotes/phrases for the second round, which will be up as soon as possible. I will post the link as a comment to this contest.
