So awhile back I was doing riddle contests, where I wrote a riddle in a little poem thingy and your entry needed to be a poem based on the answer to the riddle.

Ok, below is my riddle and I would like you to write me a HAIKU based on the answer to the riddle.

Gold takes te points, trophies to follow.
Here you go...
I'm the sustenance of life
And death will set me free
From longing to admiration
All one needs is to believe
Literally, I last a lifetime
When I'm gone, I am gone
Without me, there is darkness
No meaning to the sun
Some say I'm cold and icy
And my warmth, others feel
Whether good or bad
True emotions, I conceal
Sometimes, I am blue
And broken other times
Think real hard and you will see
The meaning in this rhyme

- Final notes: I think I need to make the next one just a little harder, most of you got the correct answer, making this harder to judge than normal. But there are the three that stood out the most.
