Wow...it's been a fair while since I last made a contest of my own. I actually think that I have the perfect contest that is sure to have everyone want to enter.
Breakup Songs.
It's pretty simple, right?
All I want is 5 of your top Breakup Songs that you often listen to or that you most relate to, and then, write a poem or write me a 'personal' or otherwise 'touching' letter that relates to TWO of your titled Breakup Songs.
So, there you have it.
I don't want just one poem on any of your 5 Breakup Song titles, I want two.
You do have the choice to write a poem for one of your song titles and a letter for another. It's up to you.
Please have fun with this. I wish I could enter myself.
I'm just glad I'm not going through any heartache at the moment. Been there and I'd hate to go there again.

Here is my entry.
First my list of break up songs.
1. Pain Redefined - Disturbed
2. Save Me - Damage Plan
3. Die Dead Enough - Megadeth
4. Dreamin' - Kiss
5. Far Away - Nickelback
The truth about breaking up is that if you really cared about the person, breaking up hurts. It can be a time when you feel like your world is falling apart and it is taking you apart with it.
So many emotions go into that time. Anger, self pity, intense sorrow, regrets, and loneliness.
The first two songs on my list cover most of the feelings to me. Pain Redefined is about picking up the pieces after a bad relationship and Save me is about self pity and wishing someone could make things better.
This is a great contest. I hope that I got the rules right. -
I just found this contest today and don't have enough time to enter, if you extend it because you don't get enough entries will you please im me and let me know. I love this idea. I'm bookmarking this, and I may just write for it anyway. I wish I would have found it sooner.
