- Final notes: Thank you all who entered. Was interesting to read. Only two entries barely fitted into my train of thought, the third was just done amazingly at what it read.
Now for what was on my mind -----
"I left my heart at the train station"
It was a long struggle to the hospital
I almost didn't make it
But once I was there they treated me kindly
with warmth and compassion.
They gave me a new heart
stitched in, nice and tight.
So I know, never again..
Will I leave my heart at the train station.
