Family....The good bits and the bad

Hey,

I enjoyed holding my last contest, and as it closed so soon, I thought I'd hold a new one

This time, I'd like to read poems about family. I recently came accross the only photo of my father that still exist from when he was young and it led me to thinking, and writing about him and who he really is/was. I also went to a family wedding and met some family members I'd never met before.

So I'd like to read poems about anything from the following:

1) A family photo or portrait

2) What family means to you

3) The bad parts of family life

4) Meeting family members for the first time

5) The joys or sorrows of having children

6) A family event (in general, or one that changed your life [good or bad way - don't mind]...either one)

I'm going to allow prewrites again this time...i see no issues with doing so

This time RULES will consist of:

> No tYpInG LiKe ThIS or t.h.i.s...it's silly
> No abuse/erotica/cursing...no need
> Please put option choice in author comment box so I know what you're writing about, and that you read THE RULES!
> Enjoy

>> One entry per author please. <<

Thanks to all in advance, take care, Sam(Dreams27) xxx
