She was recently raped and I'm making something for her, and basically I want poems from you guys, to show her she's not alone.
I want either poems explaining how you felt when you were raped,
or prose/writing on how you got through it.
OR
and this one I will love,
a poem just for her!
I know you won't know her personally,
but just things telling her to feel better.
Or poems about friendship. =]

I don't want pre-writes because I want it especailly for her.
I'm making her this big book for her birthday,
with memories of just everything we share.
And even though this is a bad point in her life,
I want her to know that there are people who have been through it, and got through it.

Although I have to say entering your poem in this contest means you're allowing me to put in the book.
So that means it will require your name in the box, but don't worry I don't favour people.
But your screen name on here and your real name.

I have to say you guys are just amazing, the fact that you don't even know her adn you wrote such amazing poem just says something about each and every one of you.

Thanks so much for the offer, but I think I will opt to not take part. I am never good with writing poetry for a specific person on the spot, especially one that I don't know. And when it comes to poetry about friendship I'm not too inclined for the same reason. I do have poems that deal with friendship, but they're not written in a manner that would fit the situation.
