round 2 http://allpoetry.com/contest/2351670
Hello contest lovers! I really wanted to make a contest, so I decided to amke a contest that has multiple rounds. (the number or rounds will depend on my points, and the number of entries I get)
So, this round is open to all. What I want are poems about... hmmm... now I can't remember... hmmm... Oh yeah, this round will be about... dang, I forgot again! Stuped Bipolar! I can't remember anything today! OK, now I remember, I want to see poems about the ocean. Anything to do with the ocean, as long as it follows my rules of corse.
Just because I don't put you in the finalist list first thing doesen't mean I don't like your poem or arn't condisering it, when I have poems in my finals list first thing its just poems that caught my eye first thing, its just a way of organizing, it doesen't mean anything
Rules:
1) no erotica or adult or anything like that
2) no love poems or heartbreak (sorry, but I find them boring)
3) no swearing or chat speak or anything like that
4) put your screen name in your authors comment box!!! Please????
5) no cutting or anything too depressing
UPDATE:
Poems on the OCEAN people, the OCEAN! The sea, the big blue wet thing! How else can I describe what I want poems about? The OCEAN! Anything about the ocean and how you feel, and mermaids, or fish, or storms, or anything, but I want it to be about the OCEAN! Just thought I'd put this message on.
Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on May 25, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 300
- Final notes: wow! Thank you all for your amazing entries! I was pleased at the turnout, and saddened because there were so many good poems that didn't follow the rules.
Anyways, thank you all for entering round 1! Those who are on the finalist list are invited to go on to round 2, wich I will make as soon as I finish writing this.
Thanks for your amazing entries. You guys have given me a deep longing to go to the ocean, unfortunatly, my Grandparents won't go seeing as it is memorial day weekend, and they don't like traffic. Well, I'll get to the beach as soon as I can. Thank you all again for your amazing poems, and I hope I see some of you in round 2!
