The poetess Frogzter will be helping to judge this contest!
HOPEFULLY by tomorrow night the contest will be judged... Frog has already read and commented on each poem... and I will Wednesday...
***I DO NOT WANT POEMS TO ME OR ABOUT ME!!!!!!!!!!***
What I want is to be inspired to write again... it's been a month since I've written anything at all. I've sat and tried to write but the words just won't come...
***I can't stand love poems... I don't like reading them...***
I prefer rhyme/metered but will accept all forms
I love nature poetry but only if you're really, REALLY good enough to 'place me where you are'.
I love 'life poetry'
I love 'story poetry'
I don't like poetry that is over 50 lines as it is really hard to keep my attention!
I like happy poetry
I like silly poetry
I don't like reading religious/Christian poetry unless I pick it out of a list for myself so don't submit that either!
That being said...
NO cussing
No erotica
No religion bashing
No bashing another's poetry
No poems about abuse
No sad poetry
No hate poetry
No cutting poetry
No dark poetry
*** I WILL be honest in my critiques... if it doesn't flow right, if rhymes are forced I WILL tell you so... so if you're thin skinned and get your feelings hurt easily DON'T enter!***

Oh, Molassis, You're one of my favorite poets on ap.
So sad to here the river dried up - but it will start flowing again. Soon, I hope.
It's hard to mak the time to write when you have family responsibilities It's a dilemma. Write - guilty feelings about the laundry, dishes, dinner, etc. Don't write - personal disatisfaction, empty feelings. It takes time to write. It's draining not to have that time.
I'll bookmark this and see what I can come up with.
Happy Mother's Day!

You Poor Thing
have you tried the alphabet method?
all you need to do....
is put all the letters to the alphabet on a sheet of paper......then like a puzzle.....put them into words.....then take those words and put them together.....after that....rearange the words to sentences.....when that is done.....take a deep breath....go back and put those words into stnazas'.....after another deep breath....close your eyes....think think think...feel feel feel...look look look...at all the pretty words you have before you.....arrange them to your thoughts.....And
WELLA!
you have a poem before you...
Hope Ive been an inspiration to you girl.....
after all.....I could just look at your picture and write a pretty poem about how pretty you are.....
