Recently it was brought to my attention the pain someone can feel when they love some one so much, and that person leaves this earth, and they are left behind.
That pain truly is unbareable, and it is something I hope you never have to feel. For I have felt it before and I will probably feel it again.
For this contest I want poems about those left behind. You can write it from the point of the one left behind or the one that crossed the river. Or maybe even a hopeful piece to the one left behind from a third party. I don't care what you write about as long as you stay within this theme.
Rules
