Pleiades Picture Competition V

This is my 35th Contest and it will be on the short form Pleiades. Please use the above picture for inspiration.

Pleiades:

This titled form was invented in 1999 by Craig Tigerman, Sol Magazine's Lead Editor. Only one word is allowed in the title followed by a single seven-line stanza. The first word in each line begins with the same letter as the title. Hortensia Anderson, a popular haiku and tanka poet, added her own requirement of restricting the line length to six syllables.

I don't have many rules except the following:

1. Pleiades Form - Title 1 word, 7 lines, 6 syllables per line.
2. Please keep it G rated. No Erotica.
3. No sticky caps.
4. Please use spell check.
5. You may enter only one poem in this contest.
6. If there are less than 10 entries in the competition, contest will be closed and no cups or points will be awarded.


This contest will end after 20 entries or the date set for end of this competition.

    Shelley, Thank you so much for hosting this lovely contest and for the honorable mention. It was my first attempt at the Pleaides and the picture was definitely and inspiration.     Thank you very much for the silver trophy, I'm thrilled to bits that you found it worthy...the contest picture was inspirational, and so was the great form of poetry 'Pleiads' ...very challenging
