Dragon's Dawn Picture Inspired

Title kind of says it all. Just tell me what the picture says to you.

No nonsense. If you do not know what I mean, do not enter.
Rhyme or not. Poetry or prose.
Nothing over forty lines.
All eligible entries receive applauds.
Place your username at the end of your piece, not in the author's comments.
No bashing of any kind.
Go back and re-read the rules.

I reserve the right to ignore your entry if it does not fit the bill. I will not DQ it, as that is just petty. Anyone asking for a critique will receive one. Content wise I am fairly open. Grammar wise, I am strict. So, if you have less than a working knowledge of the English language, you may want to reconsider.

Have fun. This will be pulled without notice. So, you have a limited time.

I know that this has ended. I will be judging this weekend, and will have the results posted on Tuesday. Thank you for your patience.

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on May 29, 2007
  • Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50, Honorable mention: 2 people
  • Final notes:
Well, first of all, I would like to thank you all for entering. I found some very interesting takes on the picture.

Those mentioned as finalists were very good. However, they neglected to post their name, and so were eliminated from placing. I am truly sorry they did not list their names, as both would probably be in the top five.

Again, thank you, and I look forward to the next contest.

Hope so; there are not enough entries for a good judging. And, do not forget your name.
