I'm Bored, So Here are a Bunch of Options

OPTION 1 (for the girls):
I am a great believer in happy endings (even though I know that they don't always happen). I want to hear about your Knight in Shining Armor/Prince Charming and how he saved you, or even better, I want to hear about how you hope he will someday. I love hope poems like that.

(I am not accepting any more entries for this category. If you enter one, I will DQ you. Sorry. )

OPTION 2(for the guys):
Prove to me that guys aren't all scum. I've never had a boyfriend, but I've been let down once, and it's caused me to loose all faith in men. Help me regain that faith again. I dare you.

(allowing 10 entries for this option)

OPTION 3 (for everybody):
I freaking adore the summertime. I know that I've held a contest on this before, but I want more summer poems. Summer camp--the highlight of my year, usually--is in a few months, and between the first camp and the second I'll be going to California (my favorite place in the world besides camp). First, however, I'll have to endure 27 more days of school, which include finals and a frog dissection. Help me get through this--write about summer camp, vacations, the sea, most anything summer related.

(allowing 10 entries for this option)

OPTION 4:
Here are some titles that I meant to use but never did. I got most of these from others' contests, but as stated in the summary, I'm not feeling so great, so I'm not going to spend ten minutes--probably more, knowing my computer--looking up where I got all these titles. If you think it's your title, show me the contest where you posted it and I'll see if that's where I got it. If it is, I'll credit you.
Here are your titles:

Vacant Eyes, Painted Persona
The Devil Will Dance on Your Grave
Dipped in Stardust
Save me from Myself
Supergirl
Break Free
I Believe the Media
Dancing with Myself
Modern Way
My Hometown
Something to Believe in
Happy Pill(s)
You Don't Need a Boy to be Beautiful
When I Fall
My Escape
Sweet Summer
The Harsh Reality of Being Less than Radient
By the Creek
A Kiss in the Rain
If Only
Little Girl
Lost in Time
Tea Awaits
Hidden Beauty
Cycle of Change
Journey
Peace is Patriotic
Lost in Time
Songs of Summer
Someday My Prince Will Come
Music Heals the Soul
Thank God for iPods
Summertime, Take Me Away
----- is a Hillbilly Town (fill in the blank yourself)
Power in Peace

(allowing 40 entries for this option)

OPTION 5:
Quotes. I don't have many, but base a poem off these if you wish.

"They don't walk like ordinary dogs, but leap and somersault like an apostrophe and comma."
--The House on Mango Street, by Sandra Cisneros

"All you wanted, Sally, was to love and to love and to love, and nobody could call that crazy."
--The House on Mango Street, by Sandra Cisneros

"You tell the world I'm dead to you but I know you want me back..."
--Yellowcard

"I am not immune / I only wanna be loved / but I feel safe behind this firewall..."
--Sanctus Real

"I wanna look at the horizon and not see a building standing tall..."
--Dixie Chicks

"Clucky was confiscated, so here's his replacement."
--My friends and I--If you know who Clucky is, you may not use this quote.

Wow, that was more quotes than I'd planned...

(allowing 10 entries for this option)

OPTION 6:
Here I have a few word banks (which will seem random unless you know me). Try to make a poem out of one. You must use all 5 words, and they can be in a different tense as long as they retain the same meaning.

Wordbank 1:
marshmallow
fiend
royal
agony
thrill

Wordbank 2:
pine
chicken
hang
decoration
ice cream

Wordbank 3:
cabin
love
tree
choir
rabbit

Wordbank 4:
potato
chalk
gingerbread
shirt
handsome

Wordbank 5:
shove
feet
ivy
gross
jewel

(allowing 10 entries for this option)

I do believe that is all that I can think of. Now onto the dreaded...

RULES
*No erotica or adult content.
*No StIcKy CaPs, chatsp33k, ALL CAPS, or Caps On Every Word.
*I'm allowing prewrites, but I'm only allowing a certain number of entries for each option. Enter your best, and if it's not good enough or it doesn't follow the rules, I will remove it so there is space for more entries.
*Use good grammar and spellcheck.
*Put the option number in your poem brief and your author's comments. That way I can tell from the contest page how many entries there are in each category. You don't have to count, but I will, and when I say that there are enough entries, then there are. I'm not gonna check every two minutes, though, so if it goes slightly over the limit and they're all good, then I'll let it go.
*You may combine options, but only put one option in your author's notes and poem brief. That way there will be more space for other entries.
*You may only enter once.

I believe that's it. Have fun!
