Welcome to my twenty-sixth contest...
Write poem with exactly four lines of text. These lines must be brilliant.
I do NOT want
cute,
lovely,
funny,
sweet,
happy,
pleasant,
religious,
uplifting,
patriotic,
rape/molestation,
erotica,
or anything nice.
Give me something new. Give me something wise. Give me something harsh and clear. Something of the terrible. Something nightmarish. Something thoughtful. Something brilliant.
And do it in four lines.
Open to rhyme, which I love, and free-verse. No acrostics and such. Feel free to curse/swear.
I promise to remove anything that doesn't fit the above specifications.
I shall probably comment every entry.
Closing date may be adjusted to suit entry quantity, entry quality, and my schedule.
