Hello and welcome to my options contest!! I love these types of contest, but I rarely hold my own so... I decided to hold one of my own. That's simple enough? Good. First, the rules if you don't mind:
Rules
1. No sticky caps unless it's adding to an effect (give me a good reason in authors box for usage and all is swell!).
2. Prewrites are allowed BUT they have to correspond to the option. If I am giving you some words to use then you are not going to enter a prewrite, as you can't have written a piece with the EXACT same words now, could you?
3. Place nice with others and don't spill any milk.
4. Can enter more than once and mix options, just tell me which ones in the authors comments box.
5. WRITE WHAT OPTION(S) YOU ARE USING IN YOUR AUTHORS COMMENTS BOX! I wont be warning anyone this time. I just can't stand it if someone doesn't fulfil a simple request.
6. I ASK that you read others entries. I don't demand it, as it is your time and effort BUT you both win. You get to learn new techniques, get points and find new bookmarks/favourites and they get critiques, points perhaps and someone to talk poetry with.
7. Please use fonts/backgrounds I will be able to see. If I can't read it, I will highlight, comment BUT you wont place... So, what's the point? (This is like dark blue or red background, maroon on black, yellow on white etc) you know how it all goes!
8. Oh swearing and erotica is allowed.
9. Have a whole load of fun!
Don't be afraid to ask questions - we all need to do it sometimes, so any questions will be answered by yours truly as soon as I am able.
Hmmm, I mentioned options didn't I... Well, here we go then. Let's make these a little more colourful.
1. Give me something contreversial. Whether this be extreme adult humour, political outlooks, dark and disturbed, theories and/or philosophies... Whatever. Just give me some contreversy. If the topic is not obvious please tell me what the write is about in your authors comments box.
2. Give me a write from a character from a TV Show/Film/Book and write the story itself in their perspective? Simple, right? Well, maybe... I want you to write from the perspective of either a villain/bad guy, or someone unexpected or unimportant. For example, I might write on Harry Potter. I may be for example, Voldemort or Draco Malfoy. This can either be telling the story itself (i.e what happened to Harry in one of the books) or about the other chacters in the film/tv/book (i.e. I hate Harry, worship Voldemort...). Please write the name of the film/tv show/book in your authors comments as well as the character you are writing as.
3. What kind of people do you disrespect or dislike the most? Maybe it's liars, wife beaters, bible bashers, lawyers... Whoever they are, tell me why you dislike them. What do they do that annoys you?
4. What kind of people do you respect or like the most? Maybe it's healers, doctors, footballers, scientists... Whoever they are, tell me why you like them. What do they do that you like so much?
5. Use as many of these phrases as you would like in your poem. Please put which phrases you have used in your authors comments box. Thank you!

7. Confess to me the worst things you've done (or make them up if you are uncomfortable to mention them or someone you know reads your poetry on here... Just let me know if it's not true). This could be a crime, a sexual act, a lie, a bribe, or even something a little bit funny/stupid you are too embarassed to admit was you. Just give me it square. Cut the crap, just give it to me the way it is.
8. I like the song 'Delilah' by Tom Jones. Look up the lyrics if you are not already familar with this song. Tell me the whole story (including the bits we miss at the start and what happens to Tom/the boyfriend at the end). This can be a twist, a humours piece... However you interpret the lyrics. Just give me what first comes to you.
9. Write me a song about one of the following things:
-Being in love with someone who isn't in love with you back.
-Being a heartbreaker / cheat
-Being a violent, drunk or killer... That type of thing.
-Being in love with someone who you thought didn't love you but they are showing signs they love you, which scares you more as you don't want to be broken by love (sounds personal, yeah it is).
-Giving advice about something. This could be advice on anything.
-A funny song. Just one to make you laugh or giggle.
-One to scare me or make me nervous or horrified.
10. You are a prisoner on death row. Write me a poem based on your feelings, thoughts and what lead you to get there. Maybe you aren't guilty? Maybe you are a psychopath? Tell me within your write and make me feel like he/she does.
