1. Poetry is life distilled."- Gwendolyn Brooks
2. "Tell Wind and Fire where to stop but don't tell me." - Charles Dickens
3. "The only devils in this world are those running around in our own hearts, and that is where all our battles should be fought." - Mahatma Gandhi
4. "To thine own self be true -; And it must follow as the night the day; Thou canst not be false to any man." - William Shakespeare
5. "The poets have been mysteriously silent on the subject of cheese." - Gilbert K. Chesterton
6. "Success is not the result of spontaneous combustion. You must set yourself on fire." - Reggie Leach
7. What is love? As far as I can tell, it is passion, admiration, and respect. If you have two, you have enough. If you have all three, you dont have to die to go to heaven." - William Wharton
8. "The difference between the right word and the almost right word is the difference between lightning and a lightning bug." - Mark Twain
Rules
1. No adult themes
2. Please place the quote that you chose in your author's comments.
3. If you use the quote or any part of the quote in your poem, make it stand out (in quotes, bold, italics, etc.) because the original thought of the quote wasn't your's.
