Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on April 27, 2007
  • Rewards: Gold: 300
  • Final notes:
I really enjoyed all the poems. I unfortunately couldn't comment on all of them due to not having the time because my friend's birthday is rapidly arriving.

I do admit, that one of the three winners certainly does not have the best poem, but because of me sending these poems off to a friend, I needed to judge semi-biasedly.

I wish I could award you all, but I sadly can't. Though, thank you all for taking the time to join in on this contest and see you in future contests.

It would have been nice to

comment on the entries other than the winners....shameful it is when a host does not comment on those poem and poets who took time to enter and write a piece for them.....

Well, excuse me for not having the time to comment on every single poem entered. I have a lot to do and a short amount of time to complete them all in. Also, if you're going to say that I commented on just the winners, look again; I didn't comment on the silver or gold. I looked at them all and added the ones I liked into the finalist. Then I removed the ones from the finalist list that weren't going to win. I'm going to take it as that I didn't comment on yours, and now you're mad or upset by it, however, looking over the entries, if you did what I just mentioned, then you were actually in the line-up to win; you just didn't.

I dont get mad....upset perhaps....12 poems is not much to read and comment....I just feel it inconsiderate to not comment on fresh writes...prewrites....perhaps...being so many....believe me...Im no sore loser by any chance....I am very capable of understanding poor judgements......and have seen worse here on AP.....enough said...have a wonderful day...thanks for hosting
congratulations to the winners and other fine poets here...
