Dragonfly40 (my real life Mom) and I decided to have a contest to learn about everyone on AP. We thought about what kind of contest... word bank, pictures, funny, rhyming, free verse, etc. etc. etc. BUT
We decided we wanted to just find out who you really are! So....
We are offering big points for real life poetry about you. Just give us something about yourself - be it amazing, funny, sad, whatever. Entertain us and let us into your life through poetry...
Please make it real (you can tell when things are made up usually - at least my Mom can!).
And we must add the usual:
1. No sTiCKy CAPs
2. No religious bashing please
3. No erotica period
4. No using the word 'the' (just kidding)
5. Please put the term 'Patent Pending is an awesome group' in your author's notes to verify that you have read the rules.
6. 10-100 lines. No more, no less.
Overall, just have a great time and help us get to know you better.

- Final notes: So sorry it took so long to judge - my dad had a dirtbike wreck (ICU). I had more HMs to give, but a few people dropped out and more didn't follow the rules about putting "patent pending is an awesome group" in the author's notes. Overall, there were a lot of great entries and the decisions were HARD. Thanks for entering and patiently waiting. Congrats to the winners!
