Simple Rules!
~ A new Form I created ~
*Arkquain*
12 lines with ( 1 ) break between
each stanza, a total of ( 2 ) breaks,
and a total of ( 3 ) stanzas.
The two ( 7 ) syllable lines, must use *end* Rhyme.
Syllable count is:
1-2-3-4
break
5-7-7-5
break
4-3-2-1

What an incredible experience Judging this contest ~
First off, just because you did not win a Trophy, does not mean that you did not win my Heart ~
I want to thank each and every one of you for taking the time to create your own MasterPiece within this new Form and for suporting this contest ~
This was really tough I must say ~
I had two poems scoring a 9.9, so therefore I had to go back about 5 times each, AFTER reviewing them at least ((( 6 ))) times each, and decide on which one was going to recieve the Gold and look closely at what I might have been missing ~
I hope you are all pleasd with your reviews and scores ~
The ones that scored a 9.0 or above are invited one more time to join me in another contest, *Poetry Formed VI* ~
BUT.....the next contest will be an *Arkquain Swirl*
I will, of course, give an example on the new contest page ~

a very graceful and creative poetry-form ...
I am always amazed when poets succeed in actually creating a regular geometric pattern with the words used in their poems ...

This is a fantastic idea for a contest my friend, too bad im not good at counting syllables..I guess I never learned since English is not my first language..this sounds very intersting, best of luck with the entries.
