There are many things that perpetuate conflict and contrubute to its magnitude. Anger, pain, resentment, arrogance, greed, desire, and pride all cause people to continue their conflicts that could otherwise be resolved. But on the flipside, there are also things that keep the good sides fighting strong. Things like love, righteousness, religious zeal, and a true wanting to do good are powerful motivators to help quell the growing of the forces of evil.
Write a poem about conflict. Maybe about what causes it, how it hurts people, or even how it ties in with human nature, and how it can be overcome. Whatever you like, but preferably provide a look on conflict that is seldon seen.
RUUUUULES!
1. Rhyming, no rhyming, maybe a little rhyming, whatever form you want. But do be advised, I tend to be a little more annoyed than I should be when it comes to "forced" rhyming, so if you choose to rhyme, make it flow!
2. This is an anonymous contest, but I think that I might recognise the style of some of my friends. So if we're friends, please if you can, try something new, to alter your style a little bit. Bias is bad :\
3. Grammar! Spelling! Punctuation! For the love of God and all that is holy, make your poetry look presentable! ...unless it adds a cool effect to the poem. I'm all for creativity!
4. Bribes are totally allowed, especially if they involve lotsa h@wt s3ckz. Keep in mind that the bribes won't effect the outcome of your poem in the contest, but I will gladly accept them anyways.
5. No ASCII pics of private parts... unless they are done professionally.
6. Pre-writes are allowed, but how well it follows the guidelines is very important, along with the quality of the poem. This means that you might turn in a very excellent poem, but one that was slightly worse may win because of the context. Now, the guidelines are pretty broad, but I don't see TOO many poems being pre-written about something like this.
7. Please don't enter just to win. If you see high-caliber poetry already entered, please don't be discouraged from entering. My tastes are also wierd as hell, so you never know if you might win!
8. You've always had a family... in the burial of your home... ohh... ~sluuurp!~
9. Kudos if you get rule 8.
10. Bad brownies if you diss my rules.
11. Even more kudos if you can come up with a rule number 12.
12.
13. Have fun!

P.S. Rule eight about made me faint. I'm listening to "I did something wrong... and na-na-na-not mine", but I'm switching to the 25 wives now. : D
Also, thanks for stressing spelling and grammar. Yay for coherence! -
