I hate it when people jump to conclusions before even looking at the situation.
My mom for instance. She is mad at me for not doing some household chars.
But I did do them, just not everything she wanted me to.
And hello, my brothers didn’t do anything, the only reason she's not mad at them is because she doesn't expect anything of them.
Well, I think what I mean to say is, that often people misjudge the situation and make you feel bad, just like my mom did just now.
1) Write a poem about not being understood.
2) Inspire people to think twice before jumping to conclusions.
3) Write a poem to someone that doesn’t understand you.
The blasted rules.
1) Try to understand the meaning of the contest.
2) Only one entry per person.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on May 6, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50
- Final notes: It was hard to judge this contest. In the end I didn't even really kept the contest in mind.
I wish I could have read some more original poems.
All and all I'm a little disappointed.
I hope my next contest will inspire people better.
Love & Peace

hello i am a mother and I was also a daughter at one time. My mother was a single parent and i did absolutely everything in the house, my brothers did nothing. But now that i am older I never regret a moment of the work that i did to please her and i only wish that one of my children would do what i did to please my mother. Keep up the good work do what she wants and just love her. ONe day you will understand her and she will understand you trust me
