Seeing as my first contest did not go supremely well, this will have many more choices. Each choice will be described below, along with rules.
*IMPORTANT*
People with more than 5 trophies that are silver or higher cannot enter. If they're all bronze, feel free.
*IMPORTANT #2*
I will not read or consider anymore poems if you do not follow ALL RULES! If you do not change what needs to be changed, I will completely disregard the entry, regardless of skill.
Rules first:
1) No sticky caps. I'll disregard your poem completely if you do use them.
2) No net speak - I know it's hard to stop, this day and age, but really, people, seperate IMs from your writing!
3) Use some form of proper grammar and spelling. I can tolerate one or two spelling mistakes, but I am a bit nitpicky about spelling (ask my friends, they'll tell you.) As for grammar, I can tolerate a little poor grammar, but I won't like it very much. Your loss.
4) No erotica. For one, I'm too young to judge something like that, and two, my filter won't let me read it.
5) Put the choice number in the author comment box.
Now the choices:
-1- Write an acrostic of a famous historical figure, event, or place. It must be done with historical facts in the writing (and I will be researching.)
-2- Describe a memory to me. This can be done in any style you like, just detailed - I want to feel as if I were there.
-3- Write a love poem. Any style at all. You can even take inspiration from Shakespeare's Sonnet 130.
-4- Write a sonnet with any subject.
-5- Analyze a character in a book, movie, or play. If you're doing this, please write the media title and character you're analyzing in the author comment.
-6- Give me your views on a current event.
-7- Any poem written with a rhyming pattern, any subject.
-8- Any freeverse, no rhyming pattern, any subject.
Good luck to all. I'll try not to be biased.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on April 19, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 20, Bronze: 15
- Final notes: Okay, I felt better about this contest than the first. Thank you for all the wonderful entries! It was kind of tough to decide (especially when about five people entered on the last day.) I had fun, and I hope you did too. (Good grief, how school-teacherish did that sound?) Great work, all of you.
