Are you Passionate?
Firey?
Full of Compassion, Love or Beauty?
Is there a darker side of your inner Red?
A Scientific...
Bloody....
Sacrifice to the Color of Red?
!Contest RULES!
- No swearing
- No chatspeak
- Spelling and punctuation is crucial! If for some reason your poem requires you to mispell a word(s) then put the reason why it is mispelled in your notes. I prefer spelling and a poem to be readable as it will dramatically influence my choice of who is the winner!
- Intelligent writing! I've been a poet for many years now and I LOVE and I do mean LOVE*** to see great intelligent writing. Not "Sally sailed radical red sails on the sevens seas...."
If your poem can possibly keep a rhyme and rhythm without "forceful rhyming" like the example above then I would appreciate many pieces as so.
- If you read these rules please put in your notes "I read the rules!!!" Thanks. Of course you don't have to be so !!!! as I am. ^_^
**!!Contest Contents!!**
- Any reference to the color or the words for the color of "Red" in the poem.
- If it is a story-like poem, PLEASE don't make me sit and read more than four pages of writing. Check in your word processor or notepad to see how many pages it is and see if it can be shortened or possibly split into two parts and the second portion as another piece to be read later.
- Be detailed! Here's some questions you might wanna answer in your poem: What does the color red make you think of first? How does the color red relate to you? When are you like Red? Who do you know that reminds you of red? Is red just a color? Or is it an object? -A thickness? -A person? -A shape? -A feeling? -A spirit?
- Have fun! Make this poem piece a part of you and appreciate all its worth! Its not just points but a point of inspiration!
