Some guys are wonderful,
some guys are jerks.
Some will break your heart,
and it will really hurt.
In the end we keep searching,
for the one that treats us right.
I know problems are aproching,
but don't give up the fight.

I totally get it! Some guys are just raised that way!
Some guys are raised in families where the mom lets everything slide for some reason and then the guy looks for girl friends who will do the same thing. PLUS, of course, the guy wants all the benefits of a close relationship. NUTS TO THAT!! Kick his butt!

It's like you understand us.
I second that comment, alot of guys are raised up in an environment in which the parents either let too much slide or they are too strict, this has a great effect on how the guy will turn out in the end. I know being a man myself you may not take me too seriously, but my mom never took any shit from me and I hated it but now look at me, I'm stepping up to take care of my girlfriend's unborn child and raise it as my own though we don't even know for sure if it's mine. Either way, I don't care what the blood test says, I'm doing what's right for the baby. To reiterate what was already said by Melodies, kick him to the curb and find someone who'll do whatever it takes to make you happy. I hope it all works out for you

I am so sick and tired of hearing everyone bag men for our societal programming. In the very act of labeling men jerks by nature a woman shirks responsibility herself.
The feminist movement was a good thing, because we all deserve equality. Are things equal, though? Where the hell is the men's movement? True, it is a patriarchal society. You think that doesn't abuse men equally? Why do you suppose we are so angry in the first place? You try taking the blame for all of society's ills after being taught to create them. You try having your gender role reduced to that of an unfeeling automaton. Were you allowed to cry as a child? I wasn't. With that in mind, go try and find the men's psychology section at Barnes & Noble.
If you think it isn't emotionally damaging when a woman wonders out loud what a man is compensating for, think again. What makes a hero in this day and age? A real man. So what's that, exactly? But that's a man's job anyway. Of course we have trouble admitting we're wrong. There is no such thing as right. The door most certainly does not swing both ways. Find me the headline about the nice girl who just snapped one day. -
