ok, this is my first contest, and i'm hoping it goes over well.
i want poetry to make me think... let's question reality, question the way things are, the reasons for things... give a different perspective on things. i want to be drawn in. i'm very into philosophy. i'm looking forward to all of your entries! and i will try to comment on every entry that comes in.
thank you ahead of time for your interest & participation!

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on March 25, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50, Honorable mention: 5 people
- Final notes: i would like to say thank you to all those who entered this contest! was my very first one and was shocked at the initial quick responses i got! there were so many great entries, so many with great potential, made me think, and a variety of fun & interesting to read styles!
it was rather difficult for me trying to comment on them all, being so personal, trying to make clear the things i liked, while also gently expressing my thoughts on things i thought could use some work. i thank those of you who had responded to my commentary, and thank you especially for those of you who had received a bit of constructive criticism and to how well you took it! it certainly was a big challenge for me and i'm glad i was given the opportunity by all of you to take it on!
i have awarded the following trophies:
Gold: Remembrance
Silver: Epiphany
Bronze: What If?
and i have awarded 5 honorable mentions, in no particular order, to:
Tins of Time
Society3
The Mystery of Man
Mental Incarceration
What's The Reason?
thanks again to all of you! this would not have been such a great success if it weren't for every single entry here! congratulations to those who received the trophies, and best of luck in the future to those who did not. thanks again & have a great day!

Hm...I'll have to see what I can come up with for this. I think too much, but I don't know if that is a good thing of a bad thing. Oh well, i will try my best to enter. I hope you get some amazing poems. Good Luck with your contest.
