Why do you love the color Black?

***Welcome Poets...

To my twenty-first contest.

This contest begins on March 21st, 2007.
This contest shall close on March 24th, 2007.
There is a limit of 51 entries.

This is what I want:

Write a poem about why you love the color black.
What does it mean to you? How does it make you feel? Why do you love it?
*I'm not looking for anything to do with races/ethnicities, stick to the color itself, and not about what you are.

Keep it under 21 lines.

Pretty simple?

Rules:
1. Free-verse or Rhyme
2. 21 or less lines
3. NO: Erotica, Rape/Molestation, America/Patriotism, Religious, or try-too-hard funny.
4. No chat lingo or sticky caps of course; grammar and spelling must be correct
5. Feel free to curse/swear
6. No pre-writes or bending of the rules, don't even ask.

Anything not fitting the above specifications, shall be removed.

Best of Luck to All Whom Enter...

Sorry, I'm a bit late replying, since the contest closed today, but to have entered, you would have had to follow the 'enter a new poem' link under the heading, 'enter this contest.'
