  • Contest was judged on March 20, 2007
  • Rewards: Gold: 500, Silver: 250, Bronze: 175, Honorable mention: 5 people
  • Final notes:
This was a hard one! Some impressive work entered here ladies and gentlemen.

Thank you everyone who entered a poem in yet another successful contest. The next one will be open to 50 entrants and will be your best prewrite. Look for it to be posted soon.

    Without further ado...The WINNERS ARE:

    1ST Place GOLD - 500 Points
    Embracing the wind horse
    http://allpoetry.com/poem/2755210

This poem is filled with a oneness that we need to wholeheartedly adapt as a race of people, forgive, make amends, and apologize. Then, move forward to a world where life no longer has the need for; "I'm sorry".

    2ND Place SILVER - 250 Points
    Flowers
    http://allpoetry.com/poem/2754186

I related to this poem with every fiber of my being. I am sure that many will be able to do the same.

    3RD Place BRONZE - 125 Points
    Regrets
    http://allpoetry.com/poem/2753248

Another entry that depicts the ill-faced world we live in. I am not sure; "I'm sorry" would heal these broken hearts but it sure would be a welcome start in most instances. Concise and hard-hitting!

Honorable mentions are in no particular order!

    Thanks again EVERYONE!

    Renee

Well, make sure you have some ink and paper in there because you'll need it being stuck and all.
