The options
Option # 1 - Write a poem inspired by a song title, only catch is, I will give you the song title, just ask me for one! ;)
Option # 2 - Write a poem inspired by one of my all time favourite bands the Parlotones, you can go to www.myspace.com/theparlotones
Option # 3 - Write a poem about somebody you hurt through their eyes, Human Superman gave me the idea for this, check his poem out at www.allpoetry.com/poem/2171744
Option # 4 - Write a poem about somebody that you miss from your past, someone that you care about and miss yet know you can never be with because you would never really love, someone who's hurt yet you have forgiven them through knowing you would have hurt them more.
Option # 5 - Write an poem apologising to a friend because you weren't there for them and never realised you were needed
Option # 6 - Write a poem about finding the inspiration within yourself to live life to the fullest.
Option # 7 - Write a poem about the rain, how it makes you feel, you can join this with feelings for someone you love if you like.
Option # 8 - Picture up top, write me a poem inspired by it. RULES
* Obviously state your option number in the author's notes
* No sticky caps cause they are just irritating
* No erotica
* No swearing
* No over-the-top vocabulary to try to impress, I am not a walking dictionary, obviously this is only in regard to the extremes.
* If you choose option one, the song title that I give you must be the poem's title, also mention the artists name in the author's comments.
* If you choose option 3, you must comment on Human Superman's poem
* Have some fun, do some research, take your time!
Gosh I hate rule section, my favourite options are 1 & 2 (hint hint) but I will solely take preference in these when reading the entires, I hope you fun and if you have any other questions, just ask :D
Oh, one more thing, you can enter as many times as you please.
Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on June 2, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 1500, Silver: 300, Bronze: 200, Honorable mention: 10 people
- Final notes: Thank you everyone for entering my contest and having the patience for all of my postponing of the closing dates! Also a huge thank you to Ashley you were my Knight(ess) in shining armour!
Well I took some time on this contest, and poems were read and reread until we made our final decision, 2 other poems, 4th and 5th I also liked so much that I sent them both 100 points, so hm's aside I spent 1900 points which I really dont mind... what I do mind though is not one person from the top 5 replied to say thank you or anything, it's rude, ridiculous and it's really made not want to have a contest again! Thanks for your kindness!!!
