Okay, long story short, I am expecting my second child and I will be having another baby shower, even though some feel that this is inappropriate. What I'd like is a short to semi short, possibly humourous or touching, poem to be put on the actual invites.
I saw a poem online that fit ths criteria, but I didn't like it and didn't want to use it. The poem was about how every child deserves to be celebrated, and also mentioned that even though the parents had all the big stuff (a crib, swing, carseat, etc) thay had to start over with the little stuff (such as bottles, diapers, wipes and clothing). This is pretty much what I am looking for only actually well-written.
I do apolgize that I only have a first prize. I've been saving up points like mad just to be able to start this contest, and finally got up enough to do so. I'd continue to save and try to offer a 2nd and 3rd place prize, but I just can't. I need to send out invites very soon and thought this would be a cute idea.

Nothing sad/dark/etc as this is a joyful time
Please don't write in all caps. You can if it so moves you, but I'd just uncap them all before going on the invite.
