Top Ten

I’m after fresh writes or pre-writes of March ‘07.

I will eliminate your entry if it falls out of top 10 to make room for others.
Don’t feel offended if I remove your poem - it’s my humble opinion, not the end of the world.
Please enter again and again.


I'm not after overly spiritual or religious poems.
I don't want erotic poetry.
I like short poems - trim the fat, even if you think it tastes the nicest.
I like abstract poetry - I’d prefer you capture feeling.
I like imagery - powerful descriptions I’d never thought possible.
I like free verse - especially with line breaks and left alignment.
(but feel free to enter anything you want)


I’ll comment on the 10 finalists. And other poems when they fall out of the top ten. If you've taken the time to go by my rules you deserve a comment.

Trophies will go to the top 10 poems when the contest is over.

This contest will finish within a week or two or three.

      Sheesh, doesn't anyone read contest these days? I just removed more than half of the poems!
